The AGCO classified the incident as a serious compliance failure. The regulator issued the monetary penalty after confirming that GCE deployed software components without prior approval. The total fine reaches $120,000, which converts to approximately €74,000.

Operational Adjustments

GCE has implemented new internal safeguards to manage software deployment. The company revised its verification protocols to require explicit regulatory clearance before installing any gaming system updates. These procedures apply to all facilities under the operator’s management.
